28m Cruising Yacht Concept

This design was launched at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2007, and although she is yet to be built, has led to many inquiries about similar yachts.

The yacht has been developed with the same principles in mind as were used in the development and design of 'Niebla', Fairlie's first in-house design and build yacht (LOA 18m).

This concept features a thoughtfully designed long keeled hull which offers many benefits over a modern fin keeled cruising yacht. Firstly, incredible directional stability and secondly, and more importantly; motion in a seaway, a long keeled hull enjoys a wonderfully gentle and relaxed motion, the issue of slamming is forgotten. This new yacht has not been designed for local weekend cruising, she is designed for extensive, world voyaging.

This yacht will be built by the same craftsmen that have restored the famous classics at the Fairlie Restorations Yard, and she will be built with the same insistence on perfection and attention to detail that Fairlie have become famous for.
