Fairlie Design is the creative design office behind Fairlie Yachts and Fairlie Restorations, the Hamble based shipyard responsible for the creation, and recreation, of many famous classic yachts. This site is designed to showcase our new and concept design proposals created to encourage the inspirations and dreams of traditional yachtsmen. By mixing traditional values and methods with state of the art design and engineering we hope to enhance and encourage the future development and styling of wooden yachts.

The design office, run by Paul Spooner, a Naval Architect and Director of Fairlie Restorations Ltd. has been involved in 'new design' and 'restoration' projects for the past 10 years, both at the Fairlie shipyard in Hamble and in other yards around Europe, details of which can be seen at http://www.fairlierestorations.com
